EllisApps Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Pass website and the mobile application (the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
The Pass app allows you to present your photo id and an image of another card of your chosing. Many users have been user our app to display proof of vaccination via photo id / vaccine card including QR code vaccination cards. When your photo id, vaccine card, or QR code are uploaded to the Pass app they never leave the internal storage of your device. They are not sent over the internet or shared with any third parties. The information on your QR code cannot be read with the human eye. However, when the QR code is scanned by a reader your personal information can be obtained and displayed. Therefore it is crucial that you protect your QR Code by only displaying it to people that are authorized by law to require proof of vaccination.
The information you provide to the Pass application remains your property and never leaves the internal storage of your device. Your information you provide does not pass through the internet and is not shared with any third parties, except when you present your information to third parties for proof of vaccination.
While using our application, you implicitly consent to the personal information contained in the photo id, health card, or QR code being used to enable the application to function, specifically for the purposes of presenting your personal information necessary to prove your vaccination status. No usage statistics are explicitly collected through the Pass app.
Access to the phone's camera is required in order to upload photo id, health card, and/or QR code to the application.
Access to the photo library is required in order to import an existing photo id, health card, and/or QR code to the application.
No image imported from the photo library or from the camera is ever transmitted or processed outside of the Pass application.
EllisApps Inc. does not retain or possess your Personal Information. Your Personal Information stays on the internal storage of your device for only as long as you keep it there. The retention of your Personal Information that is presented or collected by third parties for the purposes of verifying proof of vaccination is subject to their privacy policies. It is therefore very important to make sure you only present your information to people that are authorized by law to require proof of vaccination.
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that your data is only as safe as the integrity of the people you present it to. Your data never leaves the internal storage of your device however, it is your responsibility to protect your Personal Data by making sure you are only presenting it to people that are authorized by law to require proof of vaccination, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
